Red Eagle (AGY) are currently looking to recruit an experienced Digital Designer within Email to join their market leading client based in Folkestone.

You will be working across many areas of email marketing, with all teams and assisting with best practice. My client is looking for someone with email development skills, deliverability experience and the ability to plan strategically. They are currently implementing an Adobe Campaign which will revolutionise how they perform their email marketing, so a vision for how to implement email marketing in new ways is essential.

Responsibilities
• Being a technical expert for email build and rendering, responsible for divisional execution quality
• Design, code and deliver emails for group email marketing campaigns and be the owner for divisional execution quality
• Monitor email deliverability, maintain KPI’s, identifying issues and recommending solutions with the assistance of our monitoring tools
• Regularly analyse email performance across the group and provide insight and recommendations for improvement
• Share technical knowledge and experience across departments
• Providing thought leadership for driving email marketing innovation
• Help lead the training & mentoring of divisional email marketing teams
• Set up and execute email marketing using Maxemail (current ESP) and Adobe Campaign
• Analyse data for email marketing campaigns across the company and make suggestions for continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot email data issues
• Analyse and implement data for use in company marketing campaigns
• Be the key email technical contact for group Adobe campaign projects
• Ensuring all campaigns and activities are fully tagged, tracked and evaluated
• Managing multiple complex projects concurrently, tracking progress and success
• Maintain relationships with third party technology providers
• Understanding, implementing and using new technologies
• Integrated campaign planning cross channel
• Help drive a customer-centric email marketing approach
• Deliver business performance achieving agreed objectives
• Capable when required of managing a small team of email marketing experts
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager

Requirements:
• Strong background within email marketing
• A broad understanding of digital channels outside of email marketing
• 2 years of professional experience in web and email design
• Digital design skills, conception to execution
• Strong technical skills: HTML, jQuery and CSS skills, including HTML 5 at intermediate level
• Email deliverability experience, issue identification and resolution
• Experience using Return Path deliverability monitoring services
• Experienced in planning and coordinating across internal departments
• Experience understanding relevant KPIs across various digital channels
• Experience in A/B testing and analysis
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Confident and capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to deliver results on a tight deadline
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Must be highly organised and have great attention to detail
• Experience using Maxemail and Adobe Campaign ESP’s to set up and broadcast emails
• Planning how to integrate email activity cross channel
• Good secondary education
