Choices (formerly known as North Kent Women’s Aid) Limited is an independent registered charity offering a range of specialist domestic abuse services to communities across North & West Kent and Medway. We are seeking to fill the following post:

Community Domestic Abuse Worker, Community Project x2
16 – 35 hours per week
NJC Scale 5.22-5.25: £20,661 - £22,658 (dependent on experience) pa pro-rata
Plus Essential car user allowance

Choices are looking to recruit 2 Community Domestic Abuse Workers to deliver community programmes such as Freedom, DAY, Recovery Toolkit, to cover a busy Helpline providing advice and support, and provide one to one outreach work to victims of domestic abuse. The successful applicants must have previous experience of working with victims of domestic abuse, have extensive knowledge of the issues surrounding domestic abuse and have experience of facilitating group programmes such as the Freedom programme.

The applicant must be in possession of a full driving licence and have access to their own transport.

All successful applicants will be expected to provide an efficient, confidential and professional service.
