We are currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Cleaner to work with us in our facilities at our community based leisure centre in Swanley working part time on weekends.

We can accommodate a very flexible working pattern to suit. However the required hours are 5 hours on Saturday and Sunday every weekend. Salary: £3,910.50 per annum = £7.50 per hour

Your key duties will be to undertake daily cleaning of the Leisure Centre whilst ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout all designated areas. You will need to have previous cleaning experience and be able to work weekend hours. (See full job description below)

JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE OF POST: Cleaner
RESPONSIBLE TO: Centre Management Team

Purpose of Post:
To undertake the daily cleaning of the Leisure Centre.

Key Activities:
To ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the
Centre, on a rota basis.
To ensure that the requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
Regulations are adhered to.
 To maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the cleaning equipment stores.
 To ensure that all cleaning substances/chemicals are used economically.
 To take responsibility for keeping cleaning utensils/equipment in good condition.
 To ensure that cleaning schedules/job sheets are correctly completed on a daily basis
 To undertake additional periodic cleaning duties as required.
 To participate in any relevant training for the duties of this post and to achieve the key
objectives of Sevenoaks Leisure Limited.
 To participate fully in Sevenoaks Leisure Limited’s staff appraisal scheme.
 To comply with standard employee Health & Safety at Work responsibilities.
