The Best Connection are currently seeking a number of multi-drop van drivers, that have a keen interest in working for a reputable client in Aylesford over the Christmas period.
To begin, you are required to contact The Best Connection branch in order to book an appointment to come into the office and complete all relevant registration forms.
Please note that there is also weekend work available on a weekly basis.
The role itself involves the delivery of parcels to customers houses in and around the Kent area.
Your typical day would begin at 8:00am, arriving at the depot and preparing/loading your vehicle, ensuring that it is loaded in way in which is easily accessible when you arrive at the customers houses, this will involve studying the delivery notes and ensuring that your first drops are located at the front of the vehicle to ensure efficiency throughout the day. You will be required to use a handheld scanner in order to complete the deliveries and obtain signatures from customers.
Handheld scanner experience is not essential, basic training is offered before the start of the day, and over the course of the day, it will become second nature.
Please note that this role can be intense. Candidates are required to complete anything between 40 to 120 drops per day, potentially more due to the extremely busy Christmas period.
Candidates must be able to work at a consistently fast pace, due to time restrictions throughout the course of the working day.
Pay rates:
We pay different rates solely dependent on the day you work. Please see below for the rates of pay.
PAYE:
Monday - Friday = £8.50 per hour
Saturday = £10.00 per hour
LCC:
Monday - Friday = £9.00 per hour
Saturday = £11.00 per hour
