The Best Connection are currently seeking numerous Class 1 drivers to start immediately, that have a keen interest in working for a reputable client in Aylesford.

To begin, you are required to contact The Best Connection branch in order to book an appointment to come into the office and complete all relevant registration forms.

Next, will will book in an induction for you at the specific client. The induction is mainly focused on a driving assessment, in which you will be required to complete a days work with a driving assessor, who will then ultimately decide whether you are deemed appropriate for the job. The assessment, in a sense, should be approached with the similar attitude of a driving test.

Once you have passed your assessment, you will be contacted by ourselves in order to establish what days you are available to work.

This process will be repeated on a weekly basis, you will be contacted by ourselves each week, to establish what days you are available for the following week.

The client itself pride themselves on their flexibility, meaning that you ultimately decide which time you start work on a daily basis.

Please note that there is also weekend work available on a weekly basis.

The role itself involves the delivery of Supermarket goods to specific branches located in the Kent and London area.

Once you arrive at the destination, you will need to reverse the vehicle into the loading bay, and help colleagues at the specific supermarket to remove the cages from your trailer. Once completed, you will move on to the next drop and complete the same process.

Pay rates:

We pay different rates solely dependent on your start time, which day of the week you work, and whether or not you are set up as a PAYE or an LCC driver. Please see below for a breakdown of the pay rates.

PAYE:

Monday - Friday (AM) = £12.00

Monday - Friday (PM) = £12.50

Monday - Friday (NS) = £13.00

Saturday (All Hours) = £14.00

Sunday (All Hours) = £15.00

LCC:

Monday - Friday (AM) = £13.00

Monday - Friday (PM) = £14.50

Monday - Friday (NS) = £15.00

Saturday (All Hours) = £16.00

Sunday (All Hours) = £17.00

Please note: This role involves delivering to busy London areas, experience driving in the capital is preferred, but not essential.
