Position Expectations
To be an integral part of the team, dealing with all external and internal customer requests for consumer and trade in a professional and timely manner, building and maintaining a ‘first class service’ at all times. The role will be prominently involve all aspects of sales order processing, chasing order progression, administration of sales promotions and general enquiries via email and telephone. Whilst maintaining responsibilities for specific external areas as instructed by the Head of Customer Services support, the role also requires a high level of flexibility in order to meet the needs to the business.
Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, be computer literate and have the ability to multi task. Candidates must be fluent in Italian and a second language other than English would be a distinct advantage.
Key Duties
• Providing a First-Class Customer and Sales Support Service to all customers (internal and external), at all times.
• Ensure the sales office, emails, phones and faxes are covered between our opening hours.
• Ensuring each situation is dealt with through to resolution efficiently, professionally and in a timely manner. Where resolution cannot be found, ensuring timely escalation to the Head of Customer Support Services.
• Taking ownership of information / query requests and processing them within a 24-hour time frame following up on information and responding to the originator on a regular basis until the request is completed.
• Accurately processing all sales orders within 24 hours of receipt, ensuring contract review is completed and any unavailable item is communicated to the customer.
• Assist in maintaining and updating existing and new price lists.
• Involvement in activities, depending on the needs to the business, in support of the sales and marketing strategy.
• To assist in the development of Order Forms (Standard and Promotional).
• Developing a clear understanding of the department’s central data repositories (Shared Drive / Cloud / Trade Site).
• Identification and communication of any potential cross selling and up selling opportunities across Trade Customers, in liaison with the Head of Customer Support Services.
• Ownership of understanding processes and working within them whilst at the same time realising to ensure First Class service on occasions working outside of guidelines may be required.
• Develop ideas so as to improve on the service offer of the team.
• Support the Customer Support Services Team in meeting the needs of the business where reprioritisation of workload is required.
• Attending all Team and Business briefings as required.
