Home Support Service Worker
Location: Community
Wage £7.50 per hour + NVQ Enhancement 20p
A permanent part-time post to work flexibly over 5 days per week, 16 hours guaranteed with opportunities to work more, Monday to Friday between the hours of 09.00 to 16.30,
Mileage: 45p per mile.
Age UK North West Kent is a local independent registered charity and company working to promote the well-being of older people living in the Boroughs of Dartford and Gravesham.
Reporting to the Community Services Manager and the Community Services Supervisor, the post holder will primarily deliver a range of support to the older person, which might for example include gardening duties, light DIY, escorting customers to hospital, GP appointments, visits to the family, cafes, attending groups and clubs and enabling people to improve their well-being and health through other lifestyle and leisure pursuits in the community.
The charity is seeking people who will work as part of our existing Community Team and be part of our new Integrated Care Team working closely with our Personal Independence Coordinators.

Candidates must be a car/owner driver, and hold a current driving licence.
