Part-time On-Call Coordination Assistant (Covering the Deal & Dover Area) - from home & deal office

Lauriem Complete Care Ltd is a successful social care organisation, committed to providing excellent quality care for people in their own homes. We now have vacancies for a Part-Time On-Call Coordination Assistant to join our on-call Deal & Dover Team.

18hrs per week (over two weeks) working on the following shift rota - Every Monday from 7am until 10am from our Deal office & every other Saturday and Sunday from 7am until 10pm working from home (a laptop and mobile phone will be supplied).

The role:
• To support the On-Call service during out of hours, ensuring that all Service User’s visits are allocated to a member of care staff and to support and deal with any issues that are reported in.
• Liaise with Community Care Workers, Supervisors, Service Users, families, hospitals, Doctors, District Nurses and Care Management.
• Ensure the maintenance of proper and accurate records, in compliance with regulations such as the Data Protection Act.
• Be knowledgeable regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, health and safety, equality and diversity and company policies and procedure.

Job Requirements:
*Good knowledge of the Deal & Dover area is essential
*Experience of working within domiciliary care is preferred but not essential
*Capacity to understand and take account of the needs and difficulties of people who experience physical and mental health problems
*Effective verbal and written communication skills
*Computer literate (word, excel, outlook)

Employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, a satisfactory DBS disclosure and 2 references.
