An exciting position has arisen within Kent Life, we are looking for hard working, enthusiastic and friendly team members to join our catering department.

The ideal candidate will work with the Catering Manager & local suppliers to produce traditional light lunches. The role covers our *NEW* Wood Fired Pizza oven (training provided), lunch service in Dotty’s Tearoom, breakfast service on Saturday mornings as well as BBQ’s for selected special events throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be passionate & dedicated to enhancing & growing our catering offer.

The role is guaranteed a minimum of 15 hours per week in low season and a maximum of 5 over 7 days in the high season & holidays.

Key Tasks and Requirements:

• Have previous experience within the catering industry
• Work closely with the Catering Manager to create seasonal adaptions to the menus
• Ability to be work & thrive within a team
• Have a Level 2 Catering and Hospitality qualification or equivalent
• Responsible for all food hygiene standards
• Ability to stay calm in a busy environment
• Responsible for maintaining highest food quality & standards, with a keen eye for detail
• Have experience in a similar role
• Possess a positive can do attitude
• Thrive on the challenge of exceeding guest’s expectations
• Up keeping all catering Health & Safety requirements and maintaining our 5 star certificate
• Reporting all daily faults to the Catering Manager or Duty Manager prior to opening
