We are pleased to announce that we currently have apprenticeship opportunities.
We are looking for applicants with a desire to learn the bricklaying trade, a hard working attitude, enthusiasm and commitment in order to be considered for our training programme.
The right candidate should enjoy practical work, have good hand-eye coordination, be good at technical activities and be able to cope with the physical demands of the job. Ideally candidates should hold GCSE results in Maths and English at grades A-C. Own transport is desirable.
Duties and responsibilities would include:
•Attending college to complete a Diploma
•Working on site towards an NVQ level 2/3 in bricklaying
•Carrying out work under the guidance and supervision of a competent mentor
•Working to current Health & Safety practices
•Building to plans and instructions provided
•Good housekeeping
•Reporting any unsafe / dangerous occurrences to your mentor
•Being courteous to customers and clients at all times
