HR Services Assistant (Employment checks)

One year fixed term contract/secondment

HR Services Assistant (employment checks) is the first point of contact for colleagues and people managers in regards to the administration and coordination of employment checks. They are responsible for providing an accurate and efficient service on all aspects of employment checking and coordinating the management of the process.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Administering all current employee reference checks in collaboration with Experian
- Ensure all necessary information is received, processed and tracked on the relevant databases
- Communicating with all colleagues at different levels through out the business, answering queries from People Managers and colleagues and corresponding with HR Business Partner or specialists when necessary.
- Preparing ad hoc reports and analysis on completion rates for HR Business Partners
Competencies - Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly
- Can see beyond the obvious and feels comfortable questioning or challenging when necessary
- Well organised and systematic approach
- Able to work with sensitive, confidential data
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Strong computer literacy in Word and Excel
- Demonstrable strong communication skills
- Experienced administrator used to working in a busy environment
