About the role
We're looking for 2 permanent Surveyors to join our team; ensuring the effective & efficient delivery of a property maintenance service, you'll take responsibility for delivery of a patch based professional surveying service for responsive repairs, voids and aids and adaptations. Carrying out diagnostic inspections & surveys in accordance with Group practice as well as preparing accurate technical advice in all matters instructed.
You will contribute to maintaining business as usual for the responsive repair service through a continued period of change. Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction by taking ownership and demonstrating proactive collaborative working with repairs providers.
About you
* Educated to degree, HNC/HND level or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
* Preferably with membership of a relevant professional body eg RICS or CIOB
* A full clean current driving licence and use of a car
* Knowledge of the Social Housing Sector and awareness of it's regulation
* Experience of successful working in responsive maintenance in a large housing association
* Excellent communications skills, both oral and written with colleagues, residents, service providers, contractors, consultant and other stakeholders
Initial priorities
* Assist in effectively managing repairs and property maintenance projects within budget
* Develop strong working relationships with Planned Investment, Asset, Property Services and Development teams
* Promote efficiency, productivity in order to positively influence customer satisfaction
* Embrace the change within the organisation and adopt new vision, values and objectives
