As a waking night support worker, you will be expected to remain awake and responsive in order to support any requirements the residents may have during the night. You will build a relationship with residents so that you may support them both emotionally and practically.
You will also be able to effectively liaise with external agencies and other staff members within the organisation in order to provide the best level of care to service users. You will ensure the safety of residents, by exercising vigilance, observing changes in the resident's behaviour or appearance, and complying fully with the organisations policies and procedures.
