We have a fantastic opportunities for Trainee's in various departments so if you are seeking to start a career in Engineering/ Manufacturing.
working with one of Sittingbourne’s key manufacturing companies, with exciting expansion plans, there is an opportunity to start a temporary position with the view to converting to an Apprentice on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will learn from the ground upwards, including:
• Maintenance of automated assembly machinery
• Carrying out routine servicing to ensure quality
• Monitoring parts and stock levels to ensure minimal downtime
• Supporting safety audits
• Machinery trouble shooting
• Compliance with Health and Safety at all times.
Candidates must have a good work ethic and most importantly, must be practical and be willing to roll their sleeves up and learn.
Training will be provided on the job initially and should you be converted to an Apprentice, you will be supported through college for 4 years and working towards an Engineering qualification.
