The commercial litigation team deals with an extremely broad spread of instructions which range from advising individual clients right through to ultra-high-net-worth businesses. The firm has a commitment towards working with clients to resolve issues by way of alternative dispute resolution but has a hard-hitting approach to litigation when the need arises. The firm is, therefore, looking for a candidate with outstanding commercial acumen, a practical, problem-solving approach, excellent client-care skills and who is a dynamic, determined litigator
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a City firm or large regional practice where they will have been exposed to high-value, complex, cases - banking fraud, construction arbitration, shareholder disputes, defamation, IP disputes and commercial claims etc. Applicants should be able to demonstrate expertise in these areas, possess outstanding client-care skills, forging strong bonds with clients and engendering a relationship of trust and be a great team-player.
