Team Purpose
Deliver competitive, efficient and cost-effective solutions in performance, reward, employee benefits and global mobility for Laing O’Rourke and its employees.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Reward Leader, the role holder will be responsible for the effective delivery of performance, reward, employee benefits and global mobility, providing high level advice and support to the broader Human Capital teams and the business with commercial, compliant and cost-effective employee solutions.
Key Accountabilities
•Support employees, leaders and HC through the Global Mobility process by providing advice on immigration requirements, travel and accommodation, goods removal, contract and relocation agreements, necessary document management and authorisation through SuccessFactors to ensure employees are supported through the process.
•Subject Matter Expert on all Europe Hub based employee benefits, including employee pensions, private medical insurance, cars and allowances, employee assistance programs, employee insurances, and all wellness and benefit offerings.
•Administer and work with external partners on all Europe Hub based employee benefits, including employee pensions, private medical insurance, employee assistance programs, employee insurances, and all wellness and benefit offerings.
•Manage the Income Protection claims process and work with HCBPs to minimise lost time.
•Contribute to implementation of new and existing reward programmes and initiatives, potentially including annual salary review, performance process, introducing changes to or new benefits.
•Work with HC Business Partners and the broader HC team to provide expert advice and support on all matters related to performance, reward, employee benefits and global mobility.
•Provides informed advice to everyday Reward queries, including managing the Reward mailbox. Takes responsibility for solving business queries. On occasion will refer to senior management in instances where assistance is required.
•Help maintain the Reward and Benefits section of the Company’s Intranet
Skills (Essential)
•Intermediate level of analytical skills to manipulate large amounts of complex data
•Effective communicator, with the ability to communicate directly with employees and external providers
•Attention to detail and accuracy
•Process improvement
•Excellent IT skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
•Business aware and customer focused
•Ability to plan and prioritise workload given variety of tasks and meet deadlines
Qualifications & Experience (Desirable)
•Experience in reward encompassing knowledge of general market and HC practices.
•Experience in global mobility
•Experience in employee benefits and recognition
