As Purchasing & Stores Administrator your role will be to provide the Purchasing & Stores Team with day to day administrative support. You will use various computer systems so being IT literate and a quick learner of systems is a must, and you will be responsible for keeping the admin element of the department up to scratch. We are therefore seeking someone with proven experience in an administrative department, preferably within the healthcare sector, with excellent communication and organisation skills.
The duties of this role include:
* Supporting the Systems Administrator with new supplier set-up /product uploads and general systems update
* Assist with goods receipting and arranging product/ loan kit collections plus process stock returns back to suppliers
* Manage / organise the filling of the department?s documentation on training, H&S, delivery and collection notes etc.
* Assist in the overall resolution of invoice queries with the Finance teams
* Processing and raising purchase orders on behalf of departments / expediting deliveries
* Assist the team with generic administrative duties as and where required.
To be successful for this role, you will:
* Have demonstrable experience in an administrative role, ideally within a Stores or Purchasing environment
* Be experienced in processing and validating invoices
* Have excellent communication skills and confidence in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Be fully computer literate with good keyboard/data entry skills
