Simply Education are working with a small school in the Rochester area who are looking for an experienced SEN LSA to work one on one and in small groups with students with SpLD throughout the school.

The ideal candidate must have previous SEN experience working with students within a classroom setting, have experience dealing with difficulties such as autism, dyslexia, global delay, SpLD and BESD.

This post is full time starting from Sept 2017 and consists of 5 full days until the end of the academic year. This position has the potential to then go permanent from January 2018 for the right candidate.

As the successful Teaching Assistant you will need to;
- Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Have experience working in a school (ideally some experience SEN/ALN)
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
