Simply Education is working with a huge variety of secondary schools and academies based in and around the Mid Kent area who require eager and knowledgeable Science Teachers for September 2017 on a permanent basis.

There are several comprehensive secondary schools in the Mid Kent area looking to recruit a teacher to teach across Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Combined Science. Most schools would consider a teacher with science as a second subject as the successful applicant will be working with a supportive and well-staffed science department.

You will be a passionate teacher, dedicated to improving students knowledge of Science and raising attainment levels, utilising your teaching techniques. You will support the Science department, attending department meetings.

With excellent knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, you may be required to run intervention sessions for those students that need additional support with Science, and may also attend school trips.

There will be interviews taking place in June/July so shortlisting has already begun. If you are immediately available there could also be the opportunity to work on supply as a trial basis which would be good for those looking to see what the schools are like in the Mid Kent area.

Requirements

Simply Education are looking to recruit a teacher for this Secondary Academy that;
* Excellent knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics
* Has excellent knowledge of teaching Science
* Has recent teaching experience
* Has strong classroom management skills
* Can promote cultural development
