Twentysix Recruitment are working alongside our Client, a Prestigious Private School based on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells, in the search for a talented Chef Manager.

More representative of a Contract Catering site, than your typical school output, the right candidate must possess:

* A talent for providing great looking, fresh food to pupils and staff
* Strong craft skills ideally with a work history in contract catering
* Experience supervising or managing a team
* A nationally recognised catering qualification

Responsibilities will include
* Ensuring a high-quality food service every day
* Making food fun for pupils and staff by organising unique events, tasting tables and theme days
* Catering for 5 Star hospitality events, summer balls, match teas and Governors suppers.
* Managing a team, including completing training and appraisals
* Completing menus and ordering
* Managing a tight budget including food costings and production sheets
* The ideal candidate should have their own transport due to the location of the school.

As you can expect, the requirement and standard of delivery is high and therefore you can expect to work weekends and some evenings as and when required.
