Finance Assistant - Management Accounts
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Start date: Required as soon as possible

We’re looking for a talented Finance Assistant to assist with Management Accounts within the TKAT Finance department. 

Your role will be crucial in assisting the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Assistant with:
- Maintaining systems and procedures that ensure financial transactions are recorded and reported accurately.
- Proactively working with the Senior Finance Assistant against the month end deadline checklist throughout the year.
- To use the chosen accounting software to maintain a permanent record of financial transactions for TKAT.
- Support the Finance Assistant with the monthly processing of purchase invoices and obtaining the appropriate budget holder approval.
- To support the Senior Finance Assistant where appropriate with consolidation of academy financial positions in readiness for the completion of management accounts.
- To carry out training and support to academies as and when required (on site and over the phone).
- Assist the Finance Manager with all banking administration and be the first point of contact for all bank related queries within academies, this will include but not be limited to;
1. Setting up new online roles
2. Setting up new online users for each academy
3. Administrate current user access when required
- Complete the consolidated VAT preliminary work alongside the Senior Finance Assistant. 
- Complete all monthly inter-academy transactions and support the Senior Finance Assistant with regular inter-academy reconciliations.
