Our established GMP client requires an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their Engineering department.
As the Maintenance Technician the role will involve:
• Deliver maintenance tasks on time and to a high standard while maintaining compliance with equipment validation
• Carry out PPM tasks to a variety of equipment including bottle filling and packaging machines, API process equipment, AHU’s and utilities
• Complete documentation to GMP standards
• Provide technical support and Operator training
• Provide and keep up-to-date SOP’s for the Engineering Department
• Ensure that all equipment safety testing such as pressure/pressure relief is kept current and certified
To be considered for the Maintenance Technician role suitable candidates will:
• Be a qualified mechanical or M/E Technician with C&G trade certification and have proven pharmaceutical (GMP) experience, preferably in the manufacturing environment
• Have gained experience within a similar role ideally within a regulated environment
• Have experience of working under a ISO9000 Quality standards
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• In addition, experience in a pharmaceutical API or packaging facility is an advantage.
Salary is dependant upon skills and experience.
The hours are 9-5:30, 40 hours per week.
