Position: Full time Financial Controller
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent.
Salary: Hourly rates dependent on relevant experience. Freelance will be considered.
Job Description
As the financial controller for the group your main role would be to keep accurate and up to date Management Accounts using Sage and Xero Accounting Software and reporting directly to the company directors all financial aspects of the business.
Duties and responsibilities
All aspects of the following:
• Bank transactions & reconciliation
• Sales ledger
• Purchase ledger
• Fixed asset register
• Petty Cash recording and control
• VAT control and returns
• Hire Purchase controls
• Other management accounts issues such as prepayments and accruals
• Trial balance
• Preparation and interpretation of profit and loss and balance sheet
• Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by directors and approved 3rd Parties.
• Administration of Vehicle Fleet Insurance
• Control of Holiday Planner
• Control of Training and recertification records
• Administration of Personnel and Sub Contractor records
• Other ad-hoc office duties as required
Desired Experience
The successful applicant will need a minimum of 4 years relevant financial experience and preferably have worked on Sage and Xero Software.
