Accounts Assistant - 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Are you a proactive and forward think Accounts Assistant currently looking for a fresh challenge with a local employer of choice?.....if so read on
This role will provide daily administrative support to the finance team. The main responsibilities include:
* Purchase Ledger duties including processing supplier invoices and payment runs
* Daily maintenance of bank reconciliation
* Management of Petty Cash
* Monthly Nominal Ledger duties, including accruals and prepayments
* General administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department
Key knowledge and skills required are:
* Previous experience in a similar role or a qualification in Business Accountancy
* A working knowledge of an ERP system
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Ability to work to a high level of accuracy
* Highly developed organisational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
* A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
The successful applicant will be required to work a 40 hour week on a Monday to Friday basis. However, it will be necessary at times to work outside these hours to meet the demands of the business.
