Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Field based reporting the Snodland site

Working hours: 37 hours / 5 days

Salary: £35,000 per annum and up to 20% bonus payment

Car Allowance: £5,697 per annum



An exciting opportunity has opened to work in the new water retail competitive market. Our client is seeking an energetic member of staff to join the Business Retail team who will deliver the growth and customer retention targets.



Main Responsibilities:



* Using a range of methods, prospect to business to identify the decision maker and deliver company proposition in a compelling, accurate and professional manner.

* Prepare and deliver formal presentations to prospective customers.

* To secure growth in the number of customers supplied water and waste water services and where appropriate to sell additional products and services.

* Use negotiating skills to secure new business whilst maintaining required margin.

* To identify strategic opportunities from customer and market insight.

* Create a culture of strategic excellence and encourage others to think longer-term, developing strategic advantage and seeking opportunities for future development.



Expected Requirements:



* A minimum of 12 months with a proven track record or success in a business development role.

* Approach and deliver work in line with the company values.

* Energy and self-motivation and consider problems as a challenge.

* An ability to develop a team atmosphere through heard work, calmness, tolerance and consistency.

* Must be educated to a degree level or equivalent and hold a full driving licence.

* Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

* A drive and passion to achieve success.
