360 are a digital agency based in Sevenoaks working for some very well-known brands.
We have a new and diverse opportunity at our Sevenoaks offices for an Office Administrator wanting to cross train to become a Web/Graphic Designer.
To begin with you will provide small graphic support to our design team whilst carrying out usual Office Administrator tasks. Over time and with training we expect you to take on more design work and dependant on motivation and skill ultimately join the design team full time.
The right applicant will be motivated and show a willingness to learn, be good at problem-solving and be able to present examples of their motivated interest to learn digital design.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following key skills:
• Natural creative skills and ability to appreciate what works visually and why
• General knowledge of Photoshop and its core tools
• High level of attention to detail
• High level of organisation
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Being very comfortable receiving constructive feedback and working as part of a design team
• Good IT skills and intuitiveness when learning new software
Desirable, but not essential:
• Understanding of Responsive Web Design and what it means to design for the mobile web
• Familiarity with Illustrator for vector graphics
• Familiarity with InDesign and designing for print
• Understanding of HTML & CSS and basic ability to code
• Basic understanding of SEO and how this impacts design
