A long established, privately owned Engineering company based in Medway Towns is looking to recruit a Fettler on a temporary basis. The role will involve fettling welds to a high standard, grinding down welds, assisting the welders and fabricators and drilling. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. Additional overtime is offered during the week and a Saturday morning paid at time and a half.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in Fettling within a manufacturing engineering business. You will have the ability to use hand tools to create a high quality finished product and you will be able to work on your own initiative under minimal supervision.
