Go Resource are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager for our client a large retail distribution centre based in Dartford in Kent.



Candidate Type



Ideally this would suit a candidate that has worked onsite recruitment previously and is looking for the next step up into a management role or be someone from a more Logistics employment background so that you have an understanding of the requirements and demands of a site that operates 24-7 with high labour volumes.



Job Description



The role itself would require you to manage the following:



* Managing 3 coordinators responsible for coordinating the temporary workers on each shift

* Managing the overall performance and accuracy of all three chamber locations picking operation the temporary workforce within the warehouse

* Overall responsibility for fulfilment and recruitment

* Daily coordination with the site shift managers surrounding the temporary staff

* Managing Site Sickness and Absence

* Coordinating Flex of the temporary staff

* Daily & Weekly Management Meeting attendance and participation

* Generating Data Analysis for the site

* Processing temporary workers weekly payroll



Desirable



You will have previous experience within a similar operational environment , you must have the ability to communicate both verbally and written at all levels, be self-motivated and have excellent PC skills with the operational ability to train and coach your team. Must be able to multi task with drive and determination to succeed along with exceptional attention to detail and to deliver
