HEAD CHEF – package £27,000 – mostly daytime hours –
This beautiful, contemporary restaurant and event space is currently looking for a Head Chef to take over the day to day running of the kitchen.
The menus are modern British with an emphasis on using the finest locally sourced produce and they pride themselves on the provenance of all the ingredients used. As Head Chef you will have full autonomy over these menus and be expected to meet with local farmers and growers to ensure the best quality and price.
Alongside the restaurant there are also many functions and events to be catered for so there will be plenty of opportunity to utilise all your creative flair. Everything is made in house and the menus change regularly to reflect the seasons.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience as a Sous or Head Chef within a fresh food kitchen and feel passionately about cooking.
It will be a 40 hour week and they are open Tuesday to Sunday and only Friday and Saturday evenings. So the average day is a 7-8am start with a 3-4pm finish unless you are working the weekend. They are also closed for Christmas and the New Year!
