Company Overview:

Refined Automotive Services supports a thriving logistic company running 60+ light commercial vehicles. We also work in partnership with Southern Commercials who manage over 500 commercial fleet vehicles. The group are looking for an experienced panel beater to work within the team.


Job Description:

• To repair or replace bodywork panels of damaged vehicles in situ according to your own personal experience and also instructions received.
• Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing a variety of repair methods or by removing and replacing those beyond repair.
• To ensure that all equipment used for example, fixtures, welding equipment etc. is operated in accordance with defined safety requirements.
• Skills in bodywork preparation, light mechanical knowledge, paint application and the ability to estimate repairs would all be beneficial, although not necessary.

The Person:

• The applicant must have the ability to work as both part as a team and on an individual basis
• Strong communication skills are necessary in this busy team environment.
• The individual must handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times.
• Awareness of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations




Experience:

Candidates will ideally have:
• ATA qualification or be a time served technician
• NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3
• Experience in a body shop or accident repair environment
