Duty Manager 39 hours per week
Dover Leisure Centre
Starting Salary: £9.18 per hour / £18,617.04 per annum (starting/probation rate)

The role:

Reporting to the Centre Manager the post holder will be responsible for the day to day supervision and management of their own shift team to ensure their Centre is delivering a clean and safe environment for their customers whilst upholding excellent standards of customer service. The post holder will also be responsible opening or closing of the building.

The Successful Candidate:

We require a positive, confident and enthusiastic individual with previous experience in a supervisory role preferably within the Leisure Industry. They must be able to communicate at all levels and will be comfortable in dealing with customers and employees, face to face and over the telephone.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in both leading and working as part of a team, as well as experience in following and monitoring set procedures.

All applicants will be required to pass an NPLQ assessment so the ability to swim is essential. Ideally the successful applicant will also have a full first aid at work qualification and a pool plant operator’s qualification.
