Shop Manager - Furniture

£18,037.50 per annum (£9.25 per hour)
37.5 hours per week
Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity providing hospice services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.
We seek an experienced Shop Manager to lead our new Maidstone Furniture retail outlet to achieve sales and profit targets and raise the profile and awareness of Demelza through marketing initiatives.
You will have previous retail experience, with a proven track record of meeting and working towards set targets.
You will have line management responsibility for the Assistant Shop Manager and the logistics team and will lead the support and the development of the volunteer workforce. You will need to demonstrate your excellent communication and people management skills.
You must have a flexible approach to working and be able to use your initiative to make effective decisions and delegate work.
Basic computer skills would be an advantage. This role will involve moderate moving and handling. You will be required to work flexibly across the seven day trading week.
