Landscape Services provide grounds maintenance services on a wide range of different contracts across Kent.
We are looking to recruit a Supervisor to work from our Wilmington Depot. Day to day duties include assisting the General Manager within the office, overseeing the staff and controlling the yard, carrying out quality control on various contracts, visiting clients and encouraging further works by way of development proposals.
You will ensure fulfilment of our contractual obligations to maintain effective customer care and service delivery.
You will have a proven ability to Supervise in a high pressure environment
Main duties and responsibilities of the role are;
Ensure on a daily basis staff are carrying out works to contract specifications
Assisting the General Manger within the office such as logging, ordering and quoting
Visit sites and price up jobs requested by the customer
Ensure effective work planning and quality control is embraced by the staff.
Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times. Identify risks and unsafe practices in order to minimise potential for injury/accident. Report as required.
Lead on team H&S tool box talks.
Conduct appropriate machinery and maintenance training for the staff.
Effectively run the depot in the General Managers absence.
