An opportunity has arisen within our Facilities Engineering Department for a Site Services Engineer, based in Folkestone Kent.

Our Site Services Engineer is responsible for:

• Providing expertise to the Facilities & Engineering team.
• First response to breakdowns, fault finding and repair of boilers, RO plant, Chillers, compressors and general facilities equipment.
• Planned maintenance of the above listed equipment on site.
• Involvement in improvement projects covering site services, health & safety or capital installation.
• Liaise and control contractors related to Boilers, RO plant, Chillers and AC systems, including Permits To Work, PPE, etc.

The role is Monday to Friday with occasional overtime available.

You will possess:
• Experience of working with boilers, RO plant, Chillers, HVAC equipment.
• Experience working alongside and controlling contractors.
• Knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
• Ability to react and resolve breakdowns.
• Experience of carrying out planned maintenance activities.
• FLT experience is an advantage but is not essential.
• You must hold a valid driving licence.
• Previous experience issuing and control Permits To Work is useful but not essential as in-house training will be provided.

Required Skills & Competencies include:
• Can do approach to problems.
• Ability to work independently and manage self and time.
• Ability to communicate well with all engineering staff.
