Shift Manager / Supervisor

My Client's success is built on reputation and they have become one of the UK's leading producers in their field. To build on that success they now need to recruit an experienced Shift Manager / Supervisor to be responsible for the supervision of a team of approx 10 people on a dedicated shift ensuring that the daily production is completed to a high standard.
The Role: Shift Manager / Supervisor
Ensure lines start up on time and team members have allocated tasks
Drive team to achieve daily targets
Ensure quality standards are understood and met.
Assign daily clean up tasks to operatives to ensure factory is kept clean and safe.
Liaise with maintenance to ensure regular maintenance is carried out.
Ensure any daily tasks and regimes are carried out
Train new starters according to Training Matrix
Ensure team complies with H & S rules
Ensure that all employees wear the correct PPE
Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Shift Manager / Supervisor
Experience within a manufacturing environment - essential
Strong H&S experience - ideally IOSH
Excellent man-management skills
Computer literate
Excellent interpersonal skills
