TREATY TECHNICIAN to £40,000
City based Lloyds Broker has a vacancy within its Reinsurance Team for an experienced Treaty Technician.
Main duties:
·Provision of administrative support
·Create and update records on Brokersure Enterprise system
·Preparation and issuance of invoices and closings using Brokersure Enterprise.
·Preparation and Calculation of periodic accounts including profit commissions, sliding scale commission adjustments, portfolio transfers etc.
·Closing to Xchanging where required including use of IMR.
·Monitoring and settling balances to and from clients, underwriters etc including the use of LOR's.
·Preparation of statistics for inclusion in market presentations
·Provision of management information as required.
·Communicate with reinsurers and clients as required.
·Prompt and accurate resolution of accounts queries.
Experience
·A general understanding of the broking process.
·An understanding of cash collection processes including but not limited to general reinsurance accounting and client invoicing.
·An understanding of the general principles of reinsurance.
·An understanding of the legal principles applicable to reinsurance.
