APPRENTICE ACCOUNTANT – OFFICES BASED IN SWANLEY VILLAGE, KENT
Looking to break into a career in accounts? This is a perfect opportunity!
You have the chance to join a very busy accounting practice in this varied role which is great for a beginner.
You will undertake basic accounting duties including data management for purchase ledger and sales ledger, bank reconciliations, client communication, lots of spreadsheet work using Excel and preparation of VAT returns.
Applicants MUST have a genuine desire to work within accounts which should be evident on a CV. You should ideally have A-B grade GCSE Maths or equivalent. The personal qualities sought include a strong eye for detail, an ability to pick things up quickly, particularly where IT is concerned and most important is a good work ethic with a willingness to be flexible.
You will be rewarded with an excellent learning opportunity and a chance to take on qualifications such as AAT which will be paid for by the employer.
