A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Chef with particular experience in banqueting and weddings. The role also has the responsibility for overseeing the food and beverage function of the catering outlets on site, food ordering, stock control, health and hygiene and staff management.
Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen:
Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food
Producing menus and new dishes
Managing, training and recruiting staff
Managing food purchasing and storage
Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Helping create new recipes and write menus
Minimum education requirements:
City and Guilds 7100 Level 3
BTEC HND Professional Cookery
Health & Safety and Food Hygiene - Intermediate
We will also consider Sous Chefs who have extensive experience who are looking to move up to the next level and are capable of the role offered.
The candidate must have working time flexibility.
This role is at Kent's leading events and hospitality venue.
The role has the potential to be full-time in 2017
£28,000 PA
