Finance Data Processor - Hospice in the Weald

A dynamic, forward thinking Finance Team using electronic systems are looking for someone with excellent IT skills who can work as part of a team as well as using their own initiative.

It is essential all tasks are undertaken accurately so you will have a keen eye for detail. You will also be able to manage your time to meet tight deadlines. You must be trustworthy, have a positive calm outlook with a genuine empathy for the work of the Hospice and be able to communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels, acting at all times with tact and diplomacy.

The Finance Team are responsible for processing Purchase and Sales Ledger data, and other Financial processes for both the Charity and Commercial Companies at Hospice in the Weald.

As Data Processor you will be responsible for the electronic supplier invoices system which involves scanning, renaming and uploading to in-house supplier system. Invoices must be authorised before payment can be made and this is completed using a purchase ordering system.

The role also includes producing sales invoices using sage line 50, bespoke macros and imports. This also includes producing Aged Debtors reports and emailing statements to customers.

The role involves reconciliation of tills on a daily basis and the preparation for the weekly banking of these takings.
