This successful, growing and innovative manufacturing company who operate globally have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, dynamic and results driven Sales Manager to take the next step in their career.
Working as a Senior Sales Manager you must have a technical or engineering qualification and have experience of working in automotive, component or vehicle adaptation sales. You must also be fluent in Spanish and Italian.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will develop and implement sales strategies UK and Europe wide to new and existing customers along with introducing innovative new products. You will be responsible for the management, development and mentoring of the team of Sales Managers within the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Regularly visit existing customers to maintain relationships and encourage future sales.
- Visiting prospective customers to raise awareness and developing sales for products.
- Identify and develop new markets for the products.
- Through extensive research develop marketing and promotional strategies.
- Keep up to date with current market trends, have awareness of competitors and gathering/feeding back market intelligence.
- Reporting, forecasting and management through Salesforce.
- Ensuring continuous development of the Sales Managers.
The ideal candidate:
- Self-motivated and dynamic.
- Have a technical or engineering qualification.
- A high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and confident liaising and presenting to a range of stakeholders.
- Good numeric and literacy skills and a technical understanding.
- Previous experience of developing, managing and motivating a sales team.
- You must be fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
- You must have a full driving licence, own transport and an EU passport.
Regular travel throughout the UK and Europe is an essential part of this role and as a result you must be willing and able to travel for work purposes which will also include occasional weekends.
