We are looking for an experienced and talented Artworker/Designer to join the team for maternity cover. The job is with a small, friendly publishing house based in Faversham. The role will be office based, up to 21 hours per week with flexible working available.
Responsibilities:
Production of adverts, magazines, and other printed materials for clients and in-house purposes. Ability to follow corporate guidelines if necessary and have logo/brand design skills.
Key Skills/Experience:
• A strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programmes.
• 1-2 years of experience within the creative industry, preferably in a similar role.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a methodical approach.
• Collaborative skills to work closely with team members, sales account managers as well as the client.A working knowledge of Filemaker would be a bonus but training will be given.
• Great progress reporting skills at every stage of the design and artwork process.
