Through continued company expansion, a position has arisen at a leading UK manufacturer in the pet food industry, specialising in creating suet based products for feeding wild birds. The company has over 25 years’ experience as a leading innovator within the industry with its design, development and core manufacturing business based at its extensive site in Kent.

Reportable to the Marketing Manager and supporting the wider team we are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team based in Sittingbourne.

The successful individual must be able to work in a busy and fast paced team, where juggling multiple priorities is a must. Excellent organisational and IT skills are essential.

This is a varied role including but not limited to:

• Assisting team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.
• Assisting in the development of the new company website
• Analysis and maintenance of the website
• Assisting in the organising and analysis of online promotions.
• Setting up tracking systems for online marketing campaigns.
• Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the online developments by competitors.
• Involvement in new product development and third party projects.
• Production of briefs for online assets – including uploading and maintaining assets for the trade portal.
• Preparation of monthly reports on online activity, in particular our social media pages.
• Responsible for Social Media pages – developing and maintaining the Hettys Hen House and Suet To Go social media pages.
• Liaising with the web agency as required and assisting the Marketing Communications Specialist in implementing and maintaining plans for SEO & PPC.
• Creation of Email campaigns as required.
• Design and implementation of website banners and web visuals.
• Ensuring that the web visuals, promotions, etc are updated as required.
• Responsible for the creation and delivery of both the internal and external newsletters, working closely with the Marketing Communications Specialist in developing content for both.
• Supporting the team (Marketing & BRC) by coordinating and collating content.
• Assisting with the amends of artwork, sourcing images, and copy writing and checking.

• Attending shows and meetings.
• Assisting in the organising and analysis of trade (and possibly future retail) promotions.
• Liaising with customers, ensuring their needs are met in terms of receiving regular updates on new product etc
