Private GP Practice near Sevenoaks, Kent.

Full or Part time (Job share) position (including some Saturdays on a rota basis)

The Practice hours are 08:30 - 18:30 weekdays, and 09:00 - 13:00 Saturdays. The successful candidate will be required to share cross cover of leave within the administrative team, which will be paid as overtime.

Start date: as soon as possible. Early application an advantage. We reserve the right to close applications once a sufficient number have been received.

Salary: £17,597.25 – £21,507.75 based on 37.5 hours Full Time equivalent dependant on experience. Part time Pro Rata on this rate

We need an experienced Medical Receptionist / Administrator to join our busy and flourishing Private GP Practice working primarily front of house.

The duties of the role are varied and shared between our administrative team. Candidates must have previous experience of working within the medical sector.

As part of our friendly team, you will be providing a high-quality service to patients, where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are key. You will work closely with our team of health professionals, and directors/managers, in a very pleasant working environment.

The role involves:

• Prioritising a busy work schedule to ensure no task is overlooked.

• Dealing with patient enquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.

• Arranging appointments, and managing the appointment diary.

• Overseeing the smooth running of surgeries including arriving patients, patient registration, generating invoices and taking payments.

• Maintaining computerised patient records. Patient confidentiality at all times is essential.

• General office duties, including scanning, filing and stock taking.

• Providing support to our secretarial team when necessary, including typing letters/reports, and liaising with secondary care about onward
investigations/appointments. Accurate touch typing essential, with audio typing skills an advantage.

• To undertake mandatory training, including annual CPR training which will be provided, and become familiar with relevant CQC policies.
