Deeson is a problem solving digital agency. We design and build useful technology platforms for innovative clients worldwide. Our team members are based in London, Canterbury and work from home all over Europe.
We're looking for an organised team player to work closely with our senior team on new business proposals, pitches and tenders.
This role can be based in our central Canterbury office or can be for a home-based team member located anywhere in the UK.
This vacancy is available for full-time work (approx 35 hours per week) or for a part-time team member (approx 25 hours per week over 5 days).

Responsibilities:
- Studying and understanding the requests for proposal (RFPs)
- Working within the proposal team to formulate appropriate solutions to prospective client needs
- Re-using / re-working existing content, where possible, and creating new content, where required
- Ensure that the resources are targetted on the right proposals and time is utilised to the maximum effect.
- Manage the knowledge base of re-usable proposal content
- Support the proposal team in formulating the tender structure
- Work with others to produce written bid responses in line with deadlines
- Maintain a detailed library of previous and current proposals
- Manage bid collateral library (knowledge base), producing and updating content where necessary
- Acting as the single point of contact for all bid related information – internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders and partners including colleagues, staff and clients
- Keep the Prosperworks CRM system up-to-date and accurate
- Support the development of the look and feel of tender / proposal responses, liaising with marketing team and using existing templates as required
- Work with the marketing team to produce presentations
- Manage some bids / proposals and other projects
Skills / experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience in proposal writing or a similar role
- Excellent written English with a proven ability to write effective, concise and compelling content while under pressure
- Strong project management to short deadlines
- Able to pull together factual information obtained from a variety of sources in a format which is both interesting and comprehensive
- High attention to detail with an excellent editing and proofing ability
- Excellent problem solving & analytical skills
- Seeks opportunities to streamline and improve work processes and tender submissions
- Able to gain cooperation from others and break down barriers (within the team and cross-functionally) to obtain information and accomplish goals.
- Experience working in a distributed/remote team (for non-Canterbury based candidates)
