Our client near Ashford requires a Mechanical CAD Technician / Draughtsperson to join their busy team.

Reporting to the Design Office Manager the role will involve:

·Producing Manufacturing & Installation drawings in 2D CAD (using AutoCAD)

·Working to customer specifications and time constraints

·Liaising with customers for details and information

·Implementing and assisting with improving existing systems

·Working to ISO 90091 standards

Suitable candidates will ideally have the following skills / experience / attributes:

·Gained similar experience within a Mechanical Engineering role

·Experienced in the use of AutoCAD

·Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

·Experience / knowledge of Mechanical Stress Analysis would be beneficial but not essential
