Our client are at the beginning of our new chapter in a business that has been operating commercially since 1986 but been in existence for over 80 years, we are currently investing in new facilities, staff, equipment and IT systems to support our business plan.

They are seeking a highly experienced and successful senior executive in the Commercial Vehicle Industry within the HGV / Truck / Bus marketplace.

You will be someone who can clearly demonstrate a successful track record of business development, continuous financial and operational improvement and excellent customer service.

You will be confident, organised, focused, driven, and be able to prioritise workloads.

Main Responsibilities:

*Managing the existing customer portfolio, working closely with key personnel ensuring a continuous development and improvement of service offers.

*Managing the existing team of supervisory and administrative management that ensures that the loading of the workshops is fairly, consistently and correctly allocated to the technical staff maximising the effective use of labour.

*Ensure proactive communication practices are employed with the customers to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

*Proactively seek new opportunities to utilise the available capacity within the workshop.

*Building long term relationships with the supporting supply chain ensuring they are fully engaged and responsive to our business requirements.

It is essential that you have extensive knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle marketplace, with expertise in contracts and business development. You will have experience of delivering overviews/presentations to a wide and multi level audiences and able to produce management reports. Staff management skills are a must as is a strategic operational background.
