Connect2staff are currently recruiting for Carer's to work within a modern home in Westgate who provide nursing care for those with dementia and mental health issues.
This modern, forward thinking home provides its residents with second to none care, comfort and safety allowing them to feel safe, secure and part of a fantastic community.
Your responsibilities:
*To support and provide the residents with guidance according to their care plans/support plans in enabling them to maintain as much independence as practicable.
*Assist in the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the care practive.
*You will ensure that Care Standards are fully adhered to at all times when you are delivering and supporting residents with their care needs.
*To work in partnership with other staff within the home to ensure a seamless service.
*To practice maximum integrity in all dealings with residents relatives/families and other professional bodies.
*Support a work atmosphere which promotes a high quality of work life.
*Participate in the development of The Home's policies.
Salary and Benefits:
*Salary from £7.05 to £8.50 per hour - dependant on age and qualifications
*Full time employment - 33 hour contract (additional hours available)
*22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
*Health Plan
Requirements of Carer Role:
*A kind and caring person
*Previous experience in the Healthcare environment
*Experience with residents with mental health issues would be beneficial
*Flexibility to work on a shift basis
