Harbour Shipping is part of the Star Cargo Group and is one of the most dynamic, sales driven companies based in East Kent. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from offices in both the Eastern and Western Docks in Dover, and at the Stop24 services at junction 11 on the M20 motorway, Harbour Shipping provides an extensive range of services to commercial vehicle operators throughout Europe.
These include roll-on roll-off ferry freight bookings, customs clearance, European motorway and tunnel toll tickets and electronic tags as well as a Bureau de Change.
We are currently looking to strengthen our team by appointing a candidate to work as part of an enthusiastic team providing our client base with customs clearance and ferry booking services.
Working from our office at Stop24 Services, the successful applicant will work under supervision in an operational team interfacing with our clients both face-to-face and over the telephone.
This post would suit persons with a sound educational background, good customer service skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to work well as part of a busy team.
This position, working an average 42 hour week on a 12 hour shift basis, offers a starting salary of £18,000 per annum with overtime available, a company pension scheme and 21 shifts paid holiday a year.
