Our Client based near Sittingbourne is seeking a number of QC Analysts to work on a rolling contract– one month at a time paid via the agency on a weekly basis.

Working 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5.30pm, early finish on Friday + holiday pay + OT when required.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Undertake basic analytical testing and associated laboratory duties as necessary and assist the Laboratory Manager in ensuring safety in the laboratory and satisfactory quality standards in the materials manufactured.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Collect and record receipt of samples from various sources and prepare for analysis
2. Undertake the analysis of incoming samples and finished products to laid down specifications using conventional analytical techniques e.g. HPLC, GC
3. Prepare analytical reagents/media/cultures for general laboratory use
4. Ensure that any waste materials are processed, recorded and disposed in accordance with cGLP, safety and environmental requirements
5. Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with customer and ICH procedures
6. Ensure that all instruments are calibrated and adequately maintained prior to use.
7. Verifies laboratory data and ensures accurate primary records are kept, reports any anomalies or out of specification results to Section Leader.
8. Maintains and supports the Stability program with respect to:

a. Stability Diary
b. Stability Reports
c. Stability sampling programme
d. New product introductions
e. PCN requirements
9. Reviews stability indicating methods.
10. Generates stability reports suitable for inclusion in regulatory dossiers



KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of analytical techniques HPLC/GC (including stability indicating methods) and ICH requirements essential. HNC/HND or Degree in relevant Science subject an advantage
