BINDER / LONDON MARKET MANAGER
Our Client is a growing broker who are looking for someone to head up their London Market Division. Our client works with over 800 brokers nationwide and is in the final stages of becoming a full Lloyds Broker in order to handle their binders and schemes.
Duties will include:
·Build an account (this can incorporate any class of business and can be direct or wholesale dependant upon where expertise and contacts lie).
·Maximise the new Lloyds broker status but starting and growing the "London Market" division
·Place business for existing account executives in a regional office (a percentage of which will also count toward your own account)
·Managing and expanding upon binders and London relationships.
·Underwriting, Lloyds broking (both open market and binders) and sales / business development skill sets are all essential requirements
·Good experience and contacts in the Lloyds market is essential
The successful candidate will have a team of Account Handlers to support them and work with them. Classes of business are approximately 50% Property and 50% Commercial Combined for SME companies with premiums to £50,000.
